PROJECT DESCRIPTION : This was a repackaging of the classic children's book, The Carrot Seed. The goal was to modernize and update the design of the book, but still retain the classic charm and feel of the original. The original book had a brown, boxy border. I kept the allusion to it by incorporating the brown bar at the bottom. I updated and modernized the design and incorporated new fonts and an anniversary burst. This design went hand-in-hand with the paperback repackaging. The interior was kept as-is. This is a companion book to The Happy Egg and the flap design and back cover reflect that.
